Details

Part of the service provided for our couples is a “walk-through.” This appointment is scheduled 6-8 weeks ahead of your wedding date. Together we’ll finalize plans for reception setup, ceremony location, decor, follow-up with other vendors, arrival times, etc…

Vendors

When you sign with Gish Barn a welcome packet is provided including a recommended (but optional) list of vendors to contact regarding further planning for your wedding. The list includes caterers, florists, decorators, hairstylists, photographers, vocalists, bands, and more!

Décor Collection

Gish Barn boasts an impressive collection of vintage décor options when you book your wedding with us. From place-card holders to vases and lanterns, there are sure to be décor options that would add a special touch and personal uniqueness to make your wedding day beautiful. See photos of our growing décor collection on Pinterest.

The Barn

The early 1800’s historic barn will accommodate up to 175 seated guests. The barn features a bridal ready suite, indoor restrooms, and a designated bar area. The barn ceiling is draped with café lighting, centered by a crystal chandelier. Mini light strands adorn lower beams to create a magical ambiance.

Access

The Gish Barn and grounds will open for wedding preparation as early as 8 am on the morning of your wedding. This allows for your friends, family and hired wedding professionals, all-day access to set up and personalize your décor. Reception festivities must end by 11 pm. Rehearsal time is usually scheduled on the Thursday prior to the wedding.

Outdoor Ceremony

Located just a few yards away from the barn’s grand doorways is a wooded area popular for an outdoor ceremony. This landscaped space is perfect for a ceremony, beautiful pictures, or simply an area for your guests to stroll and relax under the lit trees. This intimate setting provides a change of environment from the open fields surrounding the barn and will be a picturesque accent to your wedding day.
